The Gift

My debut album has finally been released. Everywhere. After many months of actually writing and making the music, and what seemed like as much time doing all the back-end technical work to share it with everyone, it's out there.

I've written previously about the paradoxical business of music these days (80% business and 20% music) and the business part now continues as I spend time contacting playlisters and bloggers and trying to persuade them to share it, so that I can raise as much money - and awareness - for dementia research. This is certainly the life of a new independent artist these days - dividing time between technology and promotion, and writing and creating music.
